Writer-director Kirk Jones’ drama, based on the true life story of John Davidson, a Scottish man with severe Tourette syndrome, is both very funny and very serious. Without sugar-coating the challenges of Tourette syndrome, and thanks to Robert Aramayo’s (Game of Thrones) knockout performance, the film deftly balances the prickly and the sweet to deliver an uplifting tale of resilience.
