A pupil writes increasingly evocative and erotic stories that engage his middle-aged teacher, but then events start to spiral out of control. Top central performances and Ozon’s witty screenplay add up to a hugely enjoyable film in the French tradition of social outrage and seduction.

Released in France as Dans la maison, the  screenplay was adapted from Spanish writer Juan Mayorga’s play The Boy in the Last Row.
