Post-screening Q&A with Sarah Peacock of the British Board of Film Classification

Émilie meets Camille, who is attracted to Nora, who crosses paths with Amber … while they all try to figure out what to do with their lives.

Director Jacques Audiard (Un Prophète,  Dheepan, Sister Brothers) collaborated with Céline Sciamma (acclaimed director of Portrait of a Lady on Fire, Tomboy and Petite Maman) and Léa Mysius (Ava, The Five Devils) to produce the script for this contemporary romcom, adapted from the work of the American cartoonist Adrian Tomineset and set in a little known corner of Paris known as Les Olympiades (the film’s title in France).

“Framed in black-and-white by the rising-star cinematographer Paul Guilhaume, it also looks stunning.”  Kevin Maher, Times
